ABOUT

For over 10 years, ENCORE has celebrated the richness and diversity of Malta’s cultural landscape. First published in 2015, the magazine has grown into one of the country’s leading arts and culture publications, issued quarterly in March, June, September and December.
Published free of charge, ENCORE brings together features, interviews, artist profiles and event listings, offering readers an engaging overview of the people, performances and ideas shaping Malta’s creative scene.

The magazine is produced in collaboration with Malta’s major cultural stakeholders, creating a publication that reflects the breadth and vitality of the country’s artistic community.
Beyond reporting on the arts, ENCORE seeks to create a lasting record of Malta’s cultural life. Each edition combines thoughtful editorial with distinctive design, celebrating excellence across music, theatre, visual arts, literature, dance, heritage, architecture, film and contemporary culture.

Every edition also features the work of a selected visual artist on the back cover. Rather than changing with each issue, the same artist is featured over a series of around six consecutive editions, allowing readers to discover their work in greater depth.

More than a decade after its launch, ENCORE remains committed to informing, inspiring and championing the arts through quality journalism, distinctive design and meaningful cultural engagement.
