Denise Scicluna

Denise Scicluna is a Maltese-born artist whose abstract works explore emotion, memory, intuition, and the connections between the inner and outer worlds. Working through layers of colour, texture, symbols, and gestural marks, she creates compositions that invite personal interpretation rather than fixed narratives. Her paintings often balance spontaneity with structure, drawing inspiration from nature, human experience, and the subconscious mind.

Based in London for many years, Scicluna has exhibited internationally while maintaining strong ties to Malta. Her distinctive visual language, rich in symbolism, movement, and imagination, encourages viewers to pause, reflect, and discover their own meanings within each work.
