Zvezdan Reljić
Zvezdan Reljić (1961–2023) was a Serbian-born Maltese photographer, designer, publisher, and educator whose work was deeply rooted in analogue photography and traditional darkroom processes. A graduate of the Graphic Arts School in Belgrade, he spent decades working across photography, printing, publishing, and graphic design while remaining committed to the craft of film photography. His artistic practice often explored memory, identity, the human figure, and the passage of time through soft-focus imagery and atmospheric tonal ranges.
These photographs exemplify his distinctive visual language, where the body appears suspended between presence and disappearance, transforming documentary observation into something poetic, intimate, and dreamlike.
